Equipment

Equipment: Gravel Bike, Cross Bike, Mountian Bike, Fatbike, E-Bike.  Any bike will suffice.  Most riders in the past used Gravel or Cross Bikes with 700*35 & 38 wheel / tire combinations at a minimum.  This is a self supported ride, therefore riders must be able to repair a flat tire and carry repair tools. We highly recommend riders carry bear spray and a bear spray holder which will allow for your bear spray to be carried in a standard water bottle holder.  Bear Spray and Holders can be purchased in the town of Golden at Derailed Sports, Rona Home & Garden and ACE Hardware and at KHMR at Selkirk Sports.
